WHAT CAN YOU DO WITH A PHONE BOOK?
There’s a recycling bin for phone books at the old Navy recruiting center on Jefferson Street in Jackson. I saw someone making a contribution this morning and I started thinking about what you can do with a phone book. Mine is elevating my laptop. Tear out pages and they are excellent for window and mirror washing. They also make good booster seats for kids at the kitchen table. Have any other recycling ideas?

Keep one in your car for emergencies!
I've never used them for window washing. It doesn't leave ink streaks?
It's been a while since I used them for cleaning mirrors but it didn't leave streaks. You can use newspapers for this too.
Leroy,
What type of emergencies?
Well -
To look up phone numbers after a wreck, needing to call in a pizza, call in a refill on a prescription...etc.
And of course - in case you have to stop on the side of the road for a potty break. =) LOL
Gee ... that gives a whole new meaning to "one call, that's all."
Ha! That's funny.
