CRUNCH, CRUNCH, CRUNCH...

Everybody seems to be feeling a financial crunch right now. Is it the increase in gas prices? Kid in college?
Do you have a habit that seems to drain your finances? Smoking? Starbucks, maybe?
What corners do you cut to make ends meet?
Take your lunch to work?
Eat out only where kids eat free?
Pay bills online instead of mailing?
Share your money-saving ideas.

Everything in general has gotten expensive. It's ridiculous! Gas was 2.82 Monday and now it's 3.04. Seriously, I don't see the need for it to jump that much in TWO days. One thing that is saving me - NOT going to Wal-Mart. I usually just stop in Winn-Dixie about every two weeks...there really isn't anything there to tempt me to get besides what is on my grocery list. Oh and the occasional white dough nuts too. lol

Of course being sick and having an antibiotic that is $75 doesn't help keep the expenses down. Which doesn't include the cough meds or the steroids that you have to have if you ever want to get over this mess! Some of those things you just don't budget for! Fortunately I don't have kids, but the dog.
