ONE WAY...
This is a video about Oprah Winfrey. I am a Christian and this disturbs me. I hope that she means that we're all trying to get to Heaven. Please watch and tell me what you think.

Someone sent me that and it bothers me as well. Sorry, but there is only one way and "feeling good" about yourself isn't it.
I guess only Christians get to heaven in your tiny world.
Well, I think if she reads all the books that she does, maybe she needs to sit down and read a little bit of the Bible. God is a jealous God-as with that I would give her these verses for her to further understand what that means-Exodus 20:4-5 and 2 Corinthians 11:2 -
The blog was to get viewers' opinions about the Oprah video. Whether you
agree or disagree. It was not intended to get into a debate.
But in response to "anonymous" I believe what the Bible says:
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9
These are my beliefs. While I don’t retreat from them, I certainly respect the beliefs of others that differ with mine. Tolerance is a Christian principle, but one can be tolerant and at the same time hold fast to their own belief system.
I would say that, though I agree with previous posters who have quoted Jesus' words, there are also many verses in the Bible that speak to God's mercy. I struggle with the idea that a merciful God would allow ignorace alone to exile one of his children to hell.
