SINGING WITH THE STONES...
Some people sing in the shower, some people sing in the car, maybe even in the closet...but everybody sings. Grandson Rowan was visiting over the weekend and realized that he'd left his guitar at our house. He went to the guest room to fetch it from the closet and strummed it a couple of times. It was really out of tune but that didn't matter to him. He belted out "You Can't Always Get What You Want." Sid and I were doubled over in the kitchen. He knew a lot of the words and it was great! By the time he got back to the kitchen we told him it was wonderful and asked him where he heard it. "My mama's radio," he said.
So...what do you sing when no one is around?

The kid's got good taste!
When it's just me, I crank up Boston.
I'm a country girl - so my new favorites to sing AT THE TOP OF MY LUNGS are:
It Ain't Not Crime
&
What Kinda Gone
I belt out songs by the Bellamy Brothers and Brooks & Dunn. :)
Aunt Kate intends to teach Rowan to sing "The Twelve Days of Christmas" in time for next holiday season. Also the Ole Miss fight song and alma mater. "Way down south in Mississippi, there's a spot that ever calls..." It'll be sooooo cute. :)
"The Twelve Days of Christmas" would be great. The other little song...not so much ;)
