MERRY CHRISTMAS WITH PECOS BILL...

This is Pecos Bill. Sid and I met him while visiting with Cole and Amy in Texas.

Sid paid his owner $20 for me to sit on him and then triple-dog dared me to do it. So...I had to do it.

I know this looks dangerous, especially with the size of those horns, but he was very docile.

Speaking of dangerous...
Our photographer at The Madison County Herald, Will Smith, obviously thought he could skateboard. While in Memphis for Thanksgiving, he went skateboarding with a young cousin, somehow fell on a curb and broke lots of bone...fractured his skull, broke nine ribs, a shoulder blade, his collarbone was in three pieces before surgery.

As for me, I'm not planning on getting into much trouble over Christmas. I'm not sure if this qualifies as bull riding...maybe just bull sitting...but I'm sticking to the safe side.

Merry Christmas to you and yours from me and mine...and Pecos Bill.

I LOVE IT! Seriously - I do! I'm so glad I got to see this picture. And to think he really let you sit on him. Reminds me of the rodeo...and I bet you stayed on him more than 8 seconds! lol

I think this should be your Christmas card:

"A Christmas wish from the Salters - no bull!"

This is sooo cute! Now, if you only had a fur-trimmed cowboy hat . . . .

That bull was huge. I would have never be able to get my old, sore rump up on it without a stirrup.
