PET PEEVES...
Pet peeves. Everybody has some. Some people don't like for their foods to touch on the plate and some have to check the locks on the door a specific number of times. I have several. My most irritating pet peeve is when AFTER I've left the drive-through window, I realize that they gave sweet tea when I ordered unsweet. I know...check it before I leave. I also don't like it when people use their car horns inappropriately...such as holding it down instead of tapping. I also don't like it when my bread gets squished at the grocery store or when the next person in line in standing so close I can hardly move.
And then there are our quirks. So people like to eat the crust from their sandwiches first or finish one food before moving on to the next.
Come on...tell it...what are your quirks and pet peeves?

Oh girl... I have so many odd quirks that you'd think I was a total freak when I got done. Here's a minor one: I HAVE to chew an equal amount of food on both sides of my mouth when I'm eating. For example, if I eat a peanut, I have to chew one half on one side of my mouth and the other half on the other side.
One pet peeve - the way my husband folds laundry. No rhyme, no reason. He just folds it to get it out of the way, not for maximum efficiency. Drives me nuts.
I hate political signs EVERYWHERE. Those things are supposed to come down 24 hours after an election. Guess there's a reason MDOT calls them "litter on a stick."
I have to cut my hot dog in to pieces and place it on a hamburger bun. Yes - I know I'm strange!
Cell phone usage is becoming a big pet peeve. I got stuck behind someone recently who was so busy with her phone call she didn't notice that the light had turned green - or that everyone else around her was driving off!
Saw a mom dropping off her child on the first day of school. The girl kept trying to tell mom something, but all she cared about was her call. It's your child's first day at school! Get off the phone for a minute!
Open cabinet doors send me into ORBIT.
One night my kids called me to come into the kitchen. I walked in to find EVERY DOOR standing wide open-even the ones over the stove. I almost lost my MIND.

I'll bet your hubby put them up to it, Clucky!
;)
That drives me nuts!People can open doors but they can't seem to shut them.
Stacey,
The good thing about chewing on both side is that your teeth will wear evenly. On the topic of laundry, most men fold laundry that way. My son is so particular about his laundry that he started washing his own clothes at about 13. If he left them in the floor, I'd pick them up and put them in the wash. He informed me that he'd do it because I might fade them. I said that was an excellent idea but I did remind him who taught him to wash clothes.
